Online Movement Classes

I teach online classes which you can join  from the comfort of your own space.  You just need a mat and a device with a camera.  They work really well online as I mostly describe movements rather than demonstrate so you don’t need to be peering at the screen and can just be in your own space and move how your body wants to in that moment. I watch and give feedback as needed.

The classes include a warm up then a sequence of movements with a particular focus on one area of the body or one movement pattern usually involving all 6 movements of the spine. The wonderful thing about Somatics is that you can feel it working to unwind your tension!

Classes currently running Mon 8pm and Tues 10.30am and 7.30pm UK time. Each class is about 1 and a quarter hours long to allow time for noticing and increasing body awareness.

I use a couple of different types of balls in my classes:
Prickle Stimulating Balls (pair): great for releasing tension and waking up the sensory nervous system.

Pilates soft ball: great under the head and pelvis for weight free movement.

One to one sessions

I work one to one with clients online or in my Pilates studio in Leeds to address your issues. I specialise in rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions: ankylosing spondylitis, sciatica, scoliosis, hypermobility, parkinsons are some of the conditions which have responded well or it may be you are experiencing muscular stiffness and tightness in any part of the body.

Transformational Day Retreat

This day retreat will be a space to drop out of your busy mind and into your body to feel more, to move better and to connect with others through conscious touch.

We will use active dynamic meditation, Hanna somatic movement,  Exercises in connection and conscious touch we will dance  with the support of cacao and we will land with some gentle communal singing.

I will share so many of the tools that I have learnt on my personal development journey to help me when i feel stuck physically or emotionally.
